Recruiting Update!

Marc Deas has informed HighSchoolPlaybook.com that Osceola teammate BJ Butler has also committed to the University of Georgia. The 6'3 250 lb. senior will either play defensive end or outside linebacker at the next level.

Deas had high praise for the university as a whole, "Marc Richt is a very good man and he's a unique coach. The people of Athens show awesome hospitality, and are a great fan base."

Georgia's close proximity played a factor in the decision. "I knew that I won't be too far away from home so my family can come and see some games," he said.

Deas and Butler aren't the only prospects in a talented Kowboy team, Jarrell Emmanuel and Anthony Gandy currently have offers from Colorado State.

Also, in recruiting news, Olympia point guard Martell Buie told HighSchoolPlaybook.com at Saturday's FACA North-South All-Star Classic that he will be playing college basketball at Tennessee State University in Nashville.
