Ware Runs Wild For Winter Park
Wildcat senior Zee Ware tallied 164 all purpose yards on Friday night making him this week's Spotlight Athlete.
The big night included a 50 yard punt return as well as touchdown runs of 35 and 28 yards out that helped Winter Park demolish Cypress Creek 46-0 in our Wildcard Game of the week, and remain undefeated on the season.
Other Noteworthy Performances
Nathan Perera - Bishop Moore - Perera racked up eight catches for 184 yards and three touchdowns as well handling kicking duties with three extra points, as the Hornets beat Lyman (4-1) 41-28 in our Wildcard Game of the Week.
Alex Gomez - CFCA - The 8th grader rushed for 152 yards and three scores including the game clincher to get the 37-33 win over Lake Mary Prep.
Julian Proctor, Tim Sandersfield, Trey Pettis, Christian Effird, and Jason Wilkins - Deland - The group makes up the Bulldogs offensive line. One of the best in Central Florida that shined Friday night as they controlled the trenches during three 80-yard drives that helped Deland remain undefeated and blank Seminole 19-0.
