West Orange’s girls Lacrosse team has had a lot better publicity than the boys team who has been notorious for their rowdiness and quickly escalating situations. The girl’s reputation is one of mellow dedication and a passion for their sport.

Lyman High travelled the 30 miles with no home crowd and took on West Orange on their own field, with their own small yet supportive crowd. The home team had the advantage and used it to the fullest making all of the offensive plays that they could. The Lyman goalie was under constant attack with balls flying at her in all directions during the entire game. 

There was only so much that the Lyman High team could do to thwart the strategized offense of the West Orange girls. The game ended in what was a challenging victory for the West Orange girls team. The game was both exciting and fast-paced because of the excellent skill being displayed from both sides.
